Trust & Privacy

Built for your most sensitive data.

Your genome and health records are deeply personal. Meridian is designed around client-side encryption, your own keys, and full data ownership. Your data cannot be sold, because we don't have it in a form we can read.

Five promises

How we treat your data.

Encrypted with keys only you hold.

Your genome and health records are encrypted using keys that are generated and stored on your device. Meridian's servers never receive your decryption key. Only you can unlock your data, and only on a device you control.

Cannot be sold, because we don't have it.

Because the data on our servers is encrypted with keys we do not hold, we cannot read it, package it, or sell it. There is no version of Meridian's business that involves selling your genetic or biomarker data to advertisers, employers, or insurers.

Decrypted only on your device.

When you open the app, your data is pulled down and decrypted locally on your phone or computer. Interpretation, AI questions, and dashboards all run against the local copy. The encrypted version on our servers is opaque to us.

Yours to export, yours to delete.

You can export your raw genome file, biomarker reports, and available health data at any time. You can permanently delete your Meridian record at any time, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Findings handled with care, not panic.

All findings on the app are surfaced with appropriate context. You get to choose what to do with your health information. High-impact findings are explained clearly and can be exported as a clinician-ready summary if you want a qualified professional in the loop.

Not for emergencies

When you should call a doctor instead.

Meridian is not for emergency medical use. If you have urgent symptoms, seek immediate medical care. Meridian explains health data and helps you ask better questions; it does not replace professional medical judgment.
